This is v0.9.1-RASH, don't expect anything.

2000/01/12 : DaRiuS/RASH

Notes:

The original package was created for Watcom and since my demogroup is using
Visual C++ for win32 programming at the moment, I fixed the files for VC++ support.

After I send a test version of a win32 intro to an old teacher of mine I received a "bug report"
because he was using a PC WITHOUT any directsound (read directx) and thus was missing "DSOUND.DLL".

I also received a comment about the fact that the test version of our intro was running ok
despite the fact the person didn't have a soundcard (he experienced some problems with other
win32 intro's on his system because they were music synchronised, but the musicsystem never
played and thus no synchronisation == no intro). So that's when I decided to look if I could
get mxm/win32 working for systems without a soundcard/directsound (for viewing pleasure of people
without a soundcard).

THIS is the result. You can use windiff (or something else) if you want to see what changes I
had to make. NO GARANTEES this will work for you, but it does for me (at least for the moment).

Best regards,

====
Docs are for lamers.

the original package can be found on the elitegroup website (www.elitegroup.demo.org)

"Original Readme:"

You'll need NASM to compile the player itself and Visual C++ to compile the
example sources. XM2MXM.CPP should compile everywhere. if not, feel free to
fix.

Look into the header files for an interface description.

WARNING: the MXMPlay/Win32 MXM files are NOT compatible to the DOS version!!!
